Today I met two lovely ladies in a car park trying to trap a ferral cat who had hurt her back paw, these ladies devoted their time trying to catch Princess to take her to the vet, the car park was filling up with cars and Princess was interested in the nice food they had, but not the cat carrier the ladies had to try and trap her and take her to the vets. They had also found her brother dead this morning. Good luck ladies and Arthur, Please let us know what happned? Hope you caught her tonight.

It sounds like Arthur and perhaps one of our ladies, Elsie, although I doubt Elsie would try using a carrier. Anyway, I hope they got her...

I think it was Elsie because she works with Arthur, when they are trapping cats they borrow your traps, I think she just went to do her feeding duties that morning and found the cat had been injured, she can even often pick that cat up for a cuddle, but obviously getting her into the carrier is harder, what a kind caring lady.

those 2 ladies were me and a lady called joan princess is still going strong her leg got better but then flared up again this winter so am guessing she has a touch of arthritis. she is about 13 years old not bad for a feral. her sister is still going strong but lives in one of the other car parks over the road behind morrisons. joan has been feeding the cats for around 13 years and has been feeding princess since she was a kitten so has lots of cuddles when princess is in the mood . You are doing a great job, would love to see your pictures, I am pleased to see Princess is well as I know Joan was thinking of taking her in when I spoke to you both, but I think that must be nearly a year ago.

yeah it was a year ago past xmas. joan would love to take her home but we dont think she would settle shes never known anything but the car park and seems happy enough apart from her leg playing up in really cold weather . she gets fed twice a day (not just cat food joan always gives her a treat like tuna or ham etc lol ) they are better fed than me i think. ive got all the pics on my pc just not very technical so will have to work out how to up load them lol. ive got 2 of my own cats a tom called charlie who i got from benton cat and dog shelter nearly 3 years ago and a queen bailey who i got as a kitten nearly 5 years ago. i love them both to bits (even though bailey thinks my arm is her scratch post at times) id love more but am still at home and not allowed. ive alos got pics of all the cats from the car park present and past over the last couple of years even the kittens ive caught and rehomed including the one arthur has kept. so i will add them soon Kelly
