Congrats on the new baby!
Laser toys are great, aren't they? I'm using a torch at the mo cos I've ran out of batteries but the kittens still love it. It just means that I have to wait till it's getting dark before I can use it. It's good to hear Mack has settled in too!

Congratulations grandmother Lilian, its also nice to hear Mack is doing well in his new home, as for the lazer light mine just hear the click and they are there to play, it is a great form of excercise, they love it and never seem to get tierd of it.

my daughter has just left ours but before she left she was telling us about her cat Millie, she is a lovely resue cat who loves playing. She came in from work and julie's boyfriend was sitting watching the tele, julie said to him tell me you haven't seen that! Seen what he said, and sitting on the mat by the patio doors was a little mouse sitting on the carpet cleaning itself, Millie was looking in through the patio wiggling her bum watching it intently. The kitchen window was open but she never thought of coming in that way, which must have been the way she brought it in in the first place! Julie picked the little mouse up and took it outside while Millie ran in looking for it, she managed to put it in the bushes where it took off never to be seen again. Millie still looking inside the flat for it. Poor thing and i thought she was a very intelligent girl, how wrong can i be

quite a few years ago we had a black cat called midi, he was advertised as a ginger tom by the people who had him , they didnt care who took him he was very thin and had not had any innoculations anyway i took him to the vets that same day and got him his jabs etc and the vet said sternly he is 1/2 his body weight he also had flea's lice ear mites worms i explained to vet but don't think he really believed me anyway took him back for 2nd lot of jabs and the vet said wow he's full body weight and he is looking really good well after a yr or so i had a baby boy and when my little boy was 3 yrs old midi i believe saved his life as midi was sat on the back step into the back garden my little boy stood in the doorway a pitbull terrior that had escaped from a neighbours house came running into my back garden and was snarling and bearing his teeth midi stood up puffed his fur up and growled and lashed out at the dog , the pitbull turned and ran with its tail between its legs sadly midi died in 2005 as we were moving away he was cremated as my son didnt want to bury him away from were we where and he is still with us

That is a lovely thing for your cat to do bless him. I'm sorry he passed away but as you say you still have him with you. I still have one of my cats ashes after he was cremated, i can't bear to part with them, so have decided when i die i want him in the coffin with me so we can be together, mind you i still have 3 cats so i'm just wondering when my time comes if there will be any room for me!
